Texas A&M System faculty who completed ACUE certification courses saw students’ average grades rise from 2.69 at baseline to 2.86 the following year, with significantly greater gains than in comparison sections.
Reduced DFW Rates
At Florida Atlantic University, students of ACUE-certified faculty experienced a 38.7% drop in DFW rates compared to those taught by non-certified faculty, reflecting substantial academic gains.
Increased Passing Rates
North Carolina A&T University first-year student passing rates increased by 2.9% during the ACUE course year and by 4.4% in the post-ACUE year, compared to the baseline period
