We know that many of our partners are leaders in national and regional conference sessions, sharing the incredible work your institutions are doing around student success. We encourage you to reach out to us if we can help support your sessions or if you’d like to invite an ACUE Academic Director to serve as a co-presenter.
National or regional conferences
If you’re thinking about proposing a conference session related to pedagogy or student success, we’d love to know! We frequently attend national and regional conferences and would be happy to support your efforts—in brainstorming, writing an abstract, co-presenting, or even simply attending your session. Please reach out to your ACUE Academic Director to let us know how we can best support you.
On-campus, credit-bearing seminars for continuing education are special offerings made available through our partnerships, collaboration with the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD), and collaboration with The Career Leadership Collective (The Collective). Seminars provide faculty members with a unique, blended-learning opportunity to earn digital badges as credit toward ACUE’s Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
As an example, read about the “Embracing Diversity in Your Classroom” credit-bearing seminar at the University of Nevada-Reno in their campus news story: “University is driving innovation in diversity and inclusivity with new campus initiatives.”
If you’re interested in hosting a credit-bearing seminar, contact your Partnership Director.
