Many students—more than we may think—question if they belong and if they can succeed here. Recent research has helped us understand this barrier to student success and new terms have emerged to help us direct interventions.

As a member of the Belong community, we are invited to join the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) for the It Takes a Village series.

In this webinar, we will:

• Review the history and value of new terms to help students succeed.
• Share effective approaches for recognizing stereotype threat and imposter phenomenon.
• Provide practical strategies for addressing stereotype threat and imposter phenomenon on campuses.
• Discuss the importance of establishing peer-to-peer support systems for students and colleagues.
