Position Summary:
Working on the Analytics Team under the Chief Data Officer, the Research Associate will primarily work to measure impact of ACUE’s courses in effective teaching. ACUE outlined a framework for evaluation in Connecting the Dots: A Proposed Accountability Method for Evaluating the Efficacy of Faculty Development and Its Impact on Student Outcomes, and uses this framework to measure and report outcomes of its courses on faculty and students. This position is responsible for leading activities in this area, including statistical analyses and report generation. In addition, the Research Associate will support internal analytics focused on continuous improvement. The work is fast-paced, multi-faceted, and detail-oriented. An effective Research Associate will also build strong relationships with colleagues and customers in the joint mission of promoting student success through teaching excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently produce high-quality analyses, with emphasis on statistical analysis, in alignment with established program evaluation methods.
- Communicate results of work, through writing and presentations, in a clear and concise fashion that is most appropriate to the target audience.
- Generate compelling visualizations of quantitative and qualitative data or process diagrams.
- Check and clean data in preparation for analysis.
- Develop business rules for data cleaning and analysis.
- Document work efficiently and accurately.
- Make significant contributions to analyses and research publications and other related activities such as literature reviews and proposals (e.g., for conferences and grants).
- Work with minimal or no guidance on focused, well-structured projects as well as more complex, less-structured tasks.

Skills and Experience:
- Education: PhD preferred; master’s plus experience considered.
- Knowledge of quantitative research and analytic techniques.
- Preferred research skills: Multi-level modeling, time-series analysis, qualitative and/or mixed-methods research
- Background in statistical computing and proficiency with a statistical package (SPSS or Stata preferred).
- Strong analytic curiosity/creativity.
- Experience collaborating with others to determine what data is needed, what data exists, and how best to extract the data in a useful format.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:
- Manage and contribute to full-stack software design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability, and performance
- Work closely with the product, operations, sales, marketing, and content teams to understand strategic goals, with the intent of architecting the platform optimally for feature delivery
- Build out a basic CI/CD processes and tools
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, in particular relation to web technologies, cloud computing, and machine learning (ML)

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Brand and Communications, ACUE’s Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for communicating the impact exceptional teaching has on student outcomes to new and existing institutional partners, while also working with these same partners to identify, organize, and amplify success stories from ACUE’s rapidly growing network in higher ed.
The Partnership Marketing Manager will work closely with ACUE’s sales and partnership success teams to:
Attract new higher ed institutional partners
- Develop B2B content to be used on web, in emails, presentations, and throughout social media
- Assist in developing B2B communications strategy
- Work with strategic partners to build credibility, awareness, and demand from within their communities
Increase total contract value
- Produce & coordinate marketing materials to support ACUE’s sales team that articulate the correlation between investments in effective teaching and student success
- Effectively articulate the benefits and return on investment for ACUE’s partners
Improve the lifetime value of ACUE’s partnerships
- Produce marketing strategies and collateral to support growth efforts at institutional partners
- Work directly with institutional marketing teams to generate on campus awareness and demand among faculty and administrators by supporting their communications campaigns with templatized assets and recommended messaging
- Partner with institutional marketing teams to broadcast faculty engagement and student success stories throughout their campuses and among prospective students
Strengthen ACUE’s reputation through storytelling
- Work with marketing team to develop a content calendar to map out all external communications activities
- Capture and package campus success stories, then amplify across ACUE’s marketing channels
- Work with strategic and media partners to develop campaigns to elevate institutions committed to improving student outcomes via investments in effective teaching
- Work with strategic partners to promote their collaborations and/or investment in ACUE, and associated available benefits to participating institutions and students
- Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage conferences and virtual events with mission-aligned organizations to strengthen the brand reputation
Skills and experience:
