Reporting to the Executive Director of Partnerships, the Partnership Director is an integral team member responsible for building ACUE’s market position by assisting with business and partnership development, marketing, post-sale strategies, and operational tactics that will enable ACUE to achieve its goals.  The successful candidate will work closely with ACUE’s Partnerships team as well as across functions to execute against ACUE’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities

I. New Customer Acquisition, Account Management & Customer Satisfaction

  • Initiate contact with potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote ACUE’s work, and identify sales opportunities;
  • Clearly and convincingly articulate the organization’s offerings and value proposition and overcome initial resistance from prospects;
  • Develop and secure new system and institutional partners to adopt ACUE’s courses in effective college instruction;
  • Manage and expand reach at existing partnerships within region;
  • Identify areas to support partners to scale;
  • Manage customer feedback loop to ensure customer satisfaction and that such input informs product development; and
  • Implement CRM to track partnerships from inception through implementations.

II. Marketing Support

  • Work closely with ACUE’s marketing – team to implement market-making strategies, conduct customer outreach activities and represent ACUE at conferences; and
  • Assist with management of strategic partnerships.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven success selling educational solutions into the US post-secondary or K-12 market, with experience working with System Leadership, Presidents, and Provost-level institutional leaders (or comparable business development experience);
  • Experience selling online teaching and learning programs and related services, preferably in a training/professional development context;
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to near-term revenue goals and long-term strategy;
  • Experience negotiating and structuring complex, multi-year deals, RFPs, and contracts;
  • Business and financial acumen to form strategic business and territory development plans;
  • Exceptional communication skills to message and communicate the company’s vision and mission, and present to senior higher education leaders, advisors, and potential partners;
  • Analytical abilities, including business and deal/financial modeling, pricing strategies and execution, and business case development; and
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment where change is a constant.

Compensation

A competitive compensation package will be provided commensurate with experience and responsibilities.  This full-time position includes salary, incentive plan and benefits.

The Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) is a mission-driven organization that works with institutional partners to ensure student success by preparing college instructors to teach with evidence-based instructional practices.

ACUE is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented, and highly organized Learning Management System Assistant to engage in customer support and product development related to the construction and implementation of ACUE courses.

The Learning Management System Assistant will:

  • In coordination with the Academic Team, support course launch and administrative processes such as:
    • Building courses on a rolling basis
    • Onboarding student enrollments, credit rollovers, closing courses, etc.
  • In coordination with the Content Development Team, provide support for content editorial processes and technical production
  • During the life cycle of a course, provide customer support which will entail:
    • Diagnosing, correcting and responding to incoming customer support tickets
    • Ticket system administration and reporting
  • In coordination with the Analytics Team, support report production that details course efficacy and course taker satisfaction
  • Develop and manage support documentation (guides/FAQ’s) for course takers and course facilitators
  • Perform quality assurance on new content and product development within the learning management system

Your skills and experience should include the following:

  • Experience with Instructure Canvas
  • Experience in customer support
  • HTML expertise necessary, CSS expertise preferred
  • Adobe InDesign experience preferred
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to seamlessly manage multiple deliverables across teams and projects
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly and perpetually
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

ACUE is seeking an Analytics team member to support the organization’s sales and marketing efforts.  The Manager of Partnership Insights will work across teams to provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations based on high-quality quantitative and qualitative analyses.  The Manager of Partnership Insights will play a key role in driving strategic decisions in ACUE’s mission of promoting student success through teaching excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reporting and analysis for marketing efforts including but not limited to: paid and organic digital media including social media, website traffic/conversion, email performance, conference activities, and funnel conversion
  • Enable big picture views of data at the campaign level and drill down views (at the audience, ad, etc level) to unlock performance insights
  • Support Sales analytics needs by developing and maintaining ongoing reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on sales pipeline and forecast, sales team performance, progress against metrics and more
  • Audit/clean existing reporting and continually monitor and contribute to data infrastructure and quality
  • Leverage Google Analytics, SQL, and data visualization skill sets to stand up dashboards that automate ongoing reporting needs
  • Project manager for sales and marketing analytics projects that require Analytics team support
  • Responsible for all ad-hoc sales and marketing reporting requests
  • Serve as the sales and marketing teams’ subject matter expert for data infrastructure and analytics technology

 

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role focused on sales and marketing. Experience with higher education is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proven data analysis experience with expertise in different analytical techniques and their applications to marketing and sales metrics.
  • Strong proficiency/expertise with Salesforce
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and distill findings in a way that non-technical teammates will understand.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency with a statistical software package (SPSS preferred)
  • Comfortable working with virtual projects teams with the ability to operate independently in the execution of assignments
