The Association of College and University Educators’ (ACUE) mission is to ensure student success and equity through quality instruction. In partnership with colleges, universities, higher education systems and associations, ACUE prepares and credentials faculty in evidence-based teaching practices that improve student achievement and close equity gaps. Numerous and independently validated studies confirm that students are more engaged, learn more, and complete courses in greater numbers—more equitably with their peers—when taught by ACUE-credentialed faculty. ACUE’s online, cohort-based credentialing programs are delivered through institutional partnerships and open-enrollment courses endorsed by the American Council on Education.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Director, Sales, the Partnership Director is an integral team member responsible for building ACUE’s market position by assisting with new business and partnership development that will enable ACUE to achieve its revenue goals.  The successful candidate will work closely with ACUE’s Partnerships team as well as across functions to execute against ACUE’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • New Customer Acquisition, Account Management & Partnership Satisfaction
  • Initiate contact with potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote ACUE’s work, and identify sales opportunities;
  • Clearly and convincingly articulate the organization’s offerings and value proposition and overcome initial resistance from prospects;
  • Develop and secure new system and institutional partners to adopt ACUE’s courses in effective college instruction;
  • Identify areas to support partners to scale;

Achieve quarterly performance goals and annual quota.

  • Manage customer feedback loop to ensure customer satisfaction and that such input informs product development; and
  • Track partnerships from inception through implementations in CRM.
  • Marketing Support
  • Work closely with ACUE’s marketing – team to implement market-making strategies, conduct customer outreach activities and represent ACUE at conferences.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success selling educational solutions into the US post-secondary, with experience working with System Leadership, Presidents, and Provost-level institutional leaders, or comparable business development experience;
  • Experience selling online teaching and learning programs and related services, preferably in a training/professional development context;
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to near-term revenue goals and long-term strategy;
  • Experience negotiating and structuring complex, multi-year deals, RFPs, and contracts;
  • Business and financial acumen to form strategic business and territory development plans;
  • Exceptional communication skills to message and communicate the company’s vision and mission and present to senior higher education leaders, advisors, and potential partners;
  • Consistent performer with strong top-line revenue results
  • Analytical abilities, including business and deal/financial modeling, pricing strategies and execution, and business case development; and
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment where change is a constant.

Position Details:

A competitive compensation package will be provided commensurate with experience and responsibilities.  This full-time position includes salary and benefits.  This position is fully remote, but the candidate should be based in West Coast, specifically, California, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and Colorado, with regular travel anticipated at 40%.   

Anticipated Salary Range: $102,000-$115,0000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and responsibilities

About ACUE:

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the organization of systems to track processes and customer-facing events throughout ACUE to ensure timely, effective delivery. The successful candidate will have the ability to distill information from leaders and colleagues across the company to clearly design plans that will work company-wide and to communicate these systems interdepartmentally. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and guide the on-time planning and delivery of all needs and organization for customer-facing events (monthly webinars, ACUE’s National Higher Education Teaching Conference, etc.).
  • Work with ACUE’s video team to track and catalog talent filmed for marketing videos.
  • Work across departments to ensure all have the information, documents, and knowledge they need to represent ACUE course offerings.
  • Set and run interdepartmental meetings to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Coordinate between departments as needed to ensure timely follow-up on key meeting decisions.
  • Maintain a company-wide Service-Level Agreement process, tracking all requests, forms, and feedback.

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 plus years in a project management role, preferably in an education or editorial setting
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills in delivering message requests between ACUE departments
  • Ability to guide colleagues to meet strict deadlines
  • Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-department teams
  • Experience with online education content delivery or educational software
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment where change is constant
  • Connection with/affinity for education and ACUE’s mission
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Trello and Monday

Position Details:

A competitive compensation package will be provided commensurate with experience and responsibilities. This full-time position includes salary and benefits. This position is fully remote, but the ability to occasionally travel (3%) is required. 

Anticipated Salary Range: $70,000-$80,0000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and responsibilities

About ACUE

The Association of College and University Educators’ (ACUE) mission is to ensure student success and equity through quality instruction.  In partnership with institutions of higher education, ACUE prepares, credentials, and provides ongoing support to faculty in the use of evidence-based teaching practices that promote student engagement, persistence to graduation, equity, career readiness, and deeper levels of learning. 

Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of Curriculum & Assessment, the primary role of the Senior Director of Academics is to ensure that ACUE’s program implementation processes, procedures, and policies are optimized for both excellent partner experience, course-taker success, and student impact and are scalable to support a drive toward aggressive growth. The Senior Director of  Academics (SDA) plays an integral role in the successful outcome of ACUE’s professional development offerings by engaging in the following work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, managing, and supporting the Academic Director (AD) team who plays an integral role in the successful outcome of ACUE’s professional development (as defined by an 80% course completion rate and an average implementation rate of 1 practice per module per coursetaker) offerings by:
    • Delivering National Course Launches
    • Monitoring, managing, and supporting ACUE Facilitators
    • Supporting Institutional Facilitators
    • Engaging in effective internal communication
    • Regularly communicating key cohort health metrics to partnership teams
    • Delivering national information sessions
    • Providing sales support
    • Representing ACUE at conferences, webinars, and other content presentations
  • Lead the creation, monitoring, and refinement of the training for credentialing ACUE facilitators
  • Observing and providing feedback to Academic Directors as they deliver National Course Launches, Information Sessions, and other key aspects of their role
  • Leading a data-driven approach to managing program outcomes
  • Ensuring the Academic Director team utilizes program data to improve outcomes
  • Making regular cohort progress reports to ACUE’s leadership team so effective actions can be taken when needed
  • Making recommendations for the improvement of program outcomes
  • Ensuring internal communication between teams to ensure customer success
  • Ensuring each AD has a comparable level of work.

Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree and/or 7 plus years in higher education
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-department teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to use data to inform decision-making
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Comfortable in rapidly evolving environments
  • Experience working for or with higher ed institutions

Position Details

A competitive compensation package will be provided commensurate with experience and responsibilities. This full-time position includes salary and benefits. This position is fully remote, with travel anticipated at 10%. 

Anticipated Salary Range: $125,000-$135,0000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and responsibilities
