Programs for Faculty
Faculty can become more effective instructors and earn microcredentials through enrolling in ACUE’s Open Enrollment Courses.
Open Enrollment Courses
ACUE offers open enrollment, microcredential courses in effective in-class and online teaching practices. Faculty complete these graduate-level, asynchronous online courses with a learning community of peers.
In every course, ACUE’s learning design guides faculty from foundational knowledge through higher order learning to the implementation of proven approaches, reflection on one’s practice, and refinement based on peer and expert feedback.
Faculty who complete the requirements for each open enrollment course earn a microcredential in a set of competencies as outlined in the ACUE Effective Practice Framework©. Faculty who complete all four courses in either track earn the full ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction. The microcredentials and full credential are nationally recognized and endorsed by the American Council on Education (ACE).
Faculty who complete the requirements for both the Effective Teaching Practices course and the Effective Online Teaching Practices course, either through the full course or stacked microcredentials, can earn an Advanced Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
Tuition is $600 per course.
