From spring 2022 to 2023, faculty across 10 institutions in the U.S. participated in a study to discover the impact that ACUE’s professional development has on faculty and student mindsets and self-efficacy. ACUE’s research team evaluated the impact, and the results were unequivocal—participation in comprehensive faculty development leads to faculty feeling more confident in their ability to teach effectively and more positive attitudes and beliefs toward teaching, learning, and students. Students even reported an improved growth mindset when taught by ACUE faculty. 
 
Please join us as we review the ACUE Faculty Mindset Research Study and its key findings. In addition, participants will hear from a panel of three faculty members (from Metropolitan Community College – Kansas City and Dallas College) who will discuss how their participation in ACUE’s professional development has positively impacted their attitudes towards teaching and their students.
