Sarah Diehl

Senior Manager, Program Evaluations

Ms. Diehl is a Senior Manager, Program Evaluations for ACUE. She worked for the German American Chamber of Commerce’s New York branch for four years as a manager for their Department of State designated Exchange Visitor Program. In that role she supported international students in completing internships across the United States. Diehl participated in advocacy for the program in Washington D.C. and developed partnerships with bilateral Chambers of Commerce. In 2019, Diehl served for a year as an Americorps VISTA member, where, as Quality Improvement Coordinator for a Charleston, South Carolina community-based non-profit, Diehl re-designed their volunteer management system by measuring impact and creating policies within DSS regulations.

Ms. Diehl graduated magna cum laude with a dual Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and International Business from the CUNY Baccalaureate School of Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies. As a recipient of the Thomas W. Smith Fellowship, her undergraduate capstone combined her studies with research into German manufacturing expansion in the American south.

Ms. Diehl also holds a Master of Public Administration and Policy from John Jay University. During her studies she worked as a research assistant for John Jay’s Department of Public Management. Currently, she is enrolled in her Doctorate of Law and Policy at Northeastern University. Her background in business management and the humanities has given her an interdisciplinary approach to research and problem solving, which she brings to her work at ACUE.
